Badrinath: Lord Badrinath Temple was built about two centuries ago by the Kings of Garhwal. This Badrinath Temple has three sections: First Garbhagriha (Sanctum), second The Darshan Mandap, and third Sabha Mandap. Lord Badri Narayan, Kuber (God of wealth), Narad Rishi, Uthavar, Nar and Narayan are housed in the Garbhagriha (Sanctum). Lord Vishnu Narayana (also known as Badri Vishal) is seated in a raised pose with Shankha (Conch) and Chakra in two arms and two arms lying on the lap of Yoga Mudra.
