The Brahma Kamal is the Himalayan's most revered flower. It is an excellent example of high mountain plant life (3,000-4,600 m). The flowers grow in monsoons and abundant in places of high altitude such as Flowers Valley and Hemkund Sahib. The flowers of Brahma Kamal are used to give Nanda Devi Temple. The Indian Postal Department issued a postage stamp to commemorate this flower.
Brahma's Lotus: This beautiful flower's name can be translated as' Brahma's Lotus.' The founder of the Universe, Lord Brahma, is always represented as sitting on a massive lotus holding one in his hand. To Lord Brahma, another name is Kanja or the one born out of the sea. So, think schools say Brahma was born from Lord Vishnu's navel while others say he was born from a huge white lotus we call Brahma Kamal.
The Life-Giving Lotus: A famous tale about Ganesha's birth. Brahma produced Brahma Kamal on Parvati's order, with whose aid Shiva put an elephant's head on Ganesha's body. Wish Fulfilling: It is believed for a long time that anyone who sees this rare flower bloom will have fulfilled all his or her wishes. Watching it bloom is not easy because it blooms in the late evening and only lasts for a few hours.
Likewise, in Ramayana, when the herb of Sanjivani was given to Lakshmana, he revived miraculously. God showered flowers from heaven in celebration, falling to the earth and taking root in the Flowers Valley. So, it's named Kamal Brahma.
