Impatiens Sulcata is a height 3 M robust herb. The base is grooved and fistulous. The lower leaves are alternating and the upper leaves are either opposite or whorled. Flowers are crimson-pink, purple, or black. Its particular name sulcata refers to grooved stem.This flower is located in the Valley of flowers in abundance. It is contained in so much quantity that during the latter half of July and the first half of August this covers the Valley of flowers in pink shade. But just before you hit the official starting point of Valley of flowers, you can see the flower's largest colony of Impatiens Sulcata. Three kilometers from the entrance gate is the official starting point.
